THOMAS WILLIAMSON was admitted on trial in 1785, and traveled the Yadkin
and Salisbury circuits in North Carolina. In 1787 he was in charge of
Kentucky circuit; in 1788, of Danville, and in 1789, of Cumberland circuit
- returning, in 1780, to the Danville circuit for two years; after which,
having "literaly worn himself out in traveling and preaching," he asked
for a location. He died near Lexington, in great peace. He was a good
man, and a very excellent and successful preacher.
