"At the end of each sketch, to the extent possible, is shown the source and date of original publication.  There are numerous sketches from the Fannie O. Jones Scrap Book.  These will be identified by the term, 'FOJ Collection'. In some cases, dates of publication were unavailable."  Wayne Spiller , Compiler of McCulloch County History, Vol. I.   1976

Henry D. Bradley is a native of this county, having been born here July 27, 1887.  He was reared and schooled in North Central McCulloch, and where, on December 23, 1909, he was married to Miss Winnie B. Walker, daughter of another pioneer family of McCulloch, the late W. D. Walker.  Mr. Bradley has been engaged all his life in ranching, but has found time to take active part and leadership in civid matters, and stands high in the esteem of the general citizenship.  He is a Presbyterian and is a member of the A.F.&A.M.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Brady, December 24, 1889, and was reared and received her schooling here, the family later taking up ranching in the Marion community in the mid section of Lohn, Waldrip and Fife.  Since her marriage, Mrs. Bradley has lived at Fife.  She also is a member of the Presbyterian Church.  Children of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley are W. D., Paint Rock, Nellie Fay, a senior at John Tarleton, and Gladys Belle at home.
