Included
among the early day pioneers of Brady is W. J. Day, who has lived here
the past 55 years. Born at Russellville, KY., July 13, 1857, Mr.
Day located in Brady in 1881. Throughout a long and active life he
has been engaged as a painter and paper-hanger, and a majority of the homes
in Brady give testimony of his handiwork.
Mr. Day was married in Brady May 24, 1898 to Miss Anna Laurie Able, and
they have three children, Miss Inez of Ft. Worth, Mrs. N. A. Seaton,
and M. J. Day, both of Brady.
