Mrs. H.P.C. Evers, 81, a McCulloch County resident all her life, died Sunday
at 8:30 p.m. in Brady Hospital after a long illness.
Born april 2, 1886, in Camp San Saba, she was married to Mr. Evers in Brady
in 1910 and had lived here since.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Wilkerson Memorial
Chapel, the Rev. Arthur Rebber, pastor of Mr. Calvary Lutheran Church in
Brady, conducting. Burtial was in Live Oak Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Sloane of Brady,
and Mrs. Arthur Koehler of Cuero; a brother, Dr. Walter Baze of Chickasha,
Okla., five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ernst Otte, George Campgenn, Jacob Mohr, L. A. Gotcher,
Bill Dodds, and Lee Sommerfield.
