A. M. Finlay, 55, Fife, born at Austin, Texas, December 23, 1880, came to McCulloch with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Finlay, Sr., in 1882, the family settling at Fife, where he continues to make his home.  Mr. Finlay not only saw Fife established and grow into a lively town, but he took active part in its building.  He was married to Miss Bernice Doole at Mason in 1908, and they have two children, Mrs. Lucy Margaret Davis, Dayton, and A. M., Jr., who resides with them at Fife.
     Mr. Finlay is a member of the Presbyterian church and also of Fife Masonic lodge.
