Mrs. William T. Harris, 79, Mcculloch county pioneer, died at 9:15 a.m.
Wednesday in the Sheffield Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (today) in the Brady Presbyterian
Church, The Rev. Robert Graham and Rev. Sheridan Newman conducting.
Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral
Home.
She was born March 12, 1889 in McCulloch County to Mr. and Mrs. John P.
Sheridan. She married William T. Harris in 1908 in Brady. They
ranched in the Broadmoor section of northwest McCulloch County until they
moved to Indianapolis, Ind., where Mr. Harris was engaged in the grain
business.
The Harrises returned to Brady upon his retirement in 1930.
A daughter, Margaret, and Mr. Harris, preceded Mrs. Harris in death.
Survivors include there sisters, Mrs. J. G. McCall and Mrs. E. A. Baze,
both of Brady, and Mrs. E. C. Malloy of Dallas, a number of nieces and
nephews.
