Emma Maud Lewallen, nee Brown, is a native McCulloch County citizen, Voca
being her birthplace, and date of her birth being March 17, 1885.
She was married May 16, 1900, her husband engaging in farming in the Voca
community.
Seven children blessed this union: G. A., Paint Rock, J. E., R. L., A.
R., and A. A. Lewallen, Mrs. L. L. Hardin, all of Brady and Mrs. L. M.
Brandon of Waco. Mrs. Lewallen is a member of the Baptist Church.
