    Ossian Alexander McShan was gorn in Washington County in 1854.  He came to McCulloch County in 1862 and settled agout two miles south of Brady and was engaged in farming.  In 1874 he was married to Miss Anna Cook, who died several years go.
    Twelve children were born to this couple, all of whom are living but two.  The children are: O. L. of Brady, Mrs. Elizabeth Reager of Hillsboro, Mrs. Willie Roberta Miller of Austin, N. C. of Lohn, R. A. of Brady, J. C. of San Antonio, F. B. of Roswell, New Mexico, Pat of Brady, Allen of Brady, and Ace of Colorado, Texas.  Mr. McShan is a member of the Methodist Church.
